Tim Jones
Tim is Managing Director at Agilia, where he operates across all our core sectors. He is an accomplished infrastructure leader with over 20 years of experience spanning government roles and advisory positions. He provides expert advice across strategy, policy, commercial and financial aspects of infrastructure programmes. This has covered transport, energy and social infrastructure, in the UK and internationally. Prior to joining Agilia, Tim was a Partner in Deloitte's Infrastructure and Capital Projects practice and led the transport sector for its Strategy and Transactions business. He is a recognised industry figure and regularly contributes to articles and thought pieces in trade publications.
Tim has advised on some of the most high-profile programmes in the infrastructure sector, including Great British Nuclear’s Small Modular Reactor (SMR) programme. He also led advice to the Williams Review on the policy and strategy for the establishment Great British Railways and on two iterations of the privately financed, £1.6bn Search and Rescue Helicopters contract. Tim brings particular expertise in innovative financing models for infrastructure. Since 2002, he has worked on over 20 PPP / project finance transactions, covering bid/procurement support, restructuring and refinancing. In recent years, he has applied his private financing expertise to projects utilising the RAB model and has advised on the DPC programme in water.
