George Squires

George joined Agilia in 2024 as a Manager and is currently supporting the development of commercial strategies and navigating internal and external governance and assurance processes. As an MCIPS-accredited procurement specialist, George has extensive experience delivering complex change and transformation programmes across multiple sectors and all Government Security Classification tiers. His capabilities span the entire commercial spectrum, from formulating government-wide commercial policies to overseeing implementation and contract administration.

Throughout his career, George has worked on the development of key government policy documents including the Construction and DDaT Playbooks. He also led the Procurement Act 2023 implementation at the NCA, and has significant expertise in secure procurement environments. He excels at developing robust commercial approaches within defence regulations that maintain supply-chain security while achieving cost-effectiveness.
